I’m excited to share a truly special timepiece with a powerful story. This vintage Wyler watch belonged to the legendary Harry Belafonte—a birthday gift from the owner of Wyler Watches (VictorWyler). It wasn’t just worn, it witnessed history.
Belafonte, known for hits like Day-O and Jump in the Line, was the first artist to sell a million albums. But he was more than a music icon—he was a civil rights leader, first black Emmy winner, Hollywood trailblazer, humanitarian, and a close friend of Dr. King.
And this watch was with him through it all—from the March on Washington to the funeral of JFK and MLK, to decades of global activism. It’s not just a timepiece—it created history.
